Construction Management Technology

The Construction Management Technology degree gives the student the skills and knowledge in the organization and management of both large and small commercial construction projects and prepares them for positions in construction management and related jobs with construction firms and other industry-related organizations. Program focus is on project management, construction estimating, materials and methods of construction, construction documentation, including construction graphics, and surveying. A capstone course and internship provide students the opportunity to use skills required for becoming a successful construction professional. Although designed for immediate employment, this degree can also serve students interested in pursuing a bachelor's degree in construction or upward mobility within the construction industry.
