Program Information/Mission
The mission of the Early Childhood Education - Level 2 Certificate program is to prepare students for entry-level employment in the early childhood education field by educating them in fundamental concepts, knowledge, and hands-on techniques and skills of early childhood education. This certificate aligns with the Level 2 Gateways Credential and stacks to the Early Childhood Education Gateways Level 3 Credential and the Early Childhood Education - Level 4 Associate in Applied Science degree (Gateways Level 4 Credential). The Credential is administered by "Illinois Network of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies (INCCRRA)".
To Remain in and Graduate from the Program
Student must attain a grade of C or better in each program course to be retained in and graduate from the program.
